Microdat has been appointed by Wye Valley Brewery to supply their prestigious new brewery expansion project.

The decision was made after reviewing proposals from three UK providers, and was made on the basis of overall cost, and the flexibility of Microdat’s approach to major brewing projects.

Microdat has a long-standing relationship with Wye Valley Brewery, having supplied an FV & Racking Expansion project, and also a 120/hr cask washer.

Their new brewhouse will be a semi-automated 80Brl brew-length traditional ale system, following in the footsteps of Microdat’s hugely successful project at Moorhouse’s, and will be supported by a bulk malt plant, expanded FV system, CIP system, and relocated cask washing & racking system.

The new brewery project will be implemented using the proven framework of Microdat’s Low Cost Partnership Project, which is specifically designed for today’s world of finance, and delivers the best possible cash-flow scenario, for both customer and supplier, over the duration of the project.

Microdat’s Chief Process Engineer, Matthew Hadwen was delighted with the order, which he said cements both a long term relationship with Wye Valley Brewery, and firmly fixes Microdat as a main-stream complete brewery provider.
