Spent Grain and Mash Pump System
Microdat can install Progressive Cavity Pump Systems for spent grain removal and mash pumping.
Spent Grain Removal:For use with Mash Tun with automatic spent grain discharge, from 30Brl upwards
Mash Pumping:For Brewhouse layouts where gravity feed for mash is not possible; mash pumping into the MashTunis an alternative solution.
Spent Hops Removal:For use with Hop- Back with automatic hops discharge.
Design:The pump design is ideally suited for low to high flow applications and also allows for
the development of multi-stage pumps that increase the pressure handling capabilities.The heart of the Progressive Cavity pump is the rotor and stator. Asthe single helix rotor revolves within the double helix of the stator, a continuous cavity is formed and progresses towards the discharge of the pump. The pump is fitted with a special design of auger for this particular application.
