On Friday 13th of February 2010 Microdat Sales Manager Andy Humprey was officially appointed as the Chairman of the BFBi North of England & Scottish Section at the AGM held at the Queens Hotel, Leeds. Andy will serve in the position for the next 2 years.

Microdat Production & Systems Director - David Midgley proudly welcomed his first son into the world on December 28, 2009. Weighing a healthy 8.5lb - Harry Michael John Midgley is the also the first Gradson for Microdat's Managing Director Steve Midgley and his wife Judith.

In November 2009 Microdat secured their first export order of the new CW30 Cask Washer to Summit Brewery in Minnesota in the USA.

Microdat met with Summit Brewery at the Drinktec expo in Germany in October. The machine will be delivered in early 2010.

Microdat are actively selling products internationally and welcome enquiries world wide.

Leeds based Microdat, supplier of equipment to the brewery and beverage industry have weathered the 2009 recession and enter 2010 on a high note.
