Johnson Matthey Catalyst Pellet Processing Machine

The new special purpose machine to handle catalyst pellets has been created for Johnson Matthey. This new machine handles warped and deformed in alloy trays into which catalyst pellets are loaded to a set weight. The trays are warped and deformed due to the very high temperatures used to process the catalyst pellets, for Microdat it is similar work to handling bent and deformed beer barrels and then weighing their contents. This new machines uses Univer pneumatics, Beckhoff controls and a Lenze drive along with many standard Microdat parts.
