Site Manager
This role will be to oversee the delivery, mechanical installation, commissioning & management of projects throughout the UK. You will be the principal point of contact for the customers and manage Microdat site staff and subcontractors. It’s a hands role working within every production department to ensure that the job gets done and meets customer deadlines. When there is no site work available you will be actively involved in production within our workshop teams where required. Must have a full clean driving licence and be prepared to travel at short notice.
39 hours per week Monday to Friday and some overtime / weekend working required.

Pipe Fitter-Welder
We require a pipe fitter welder experienced in working with high quality hygienic pipe and process systems in stainless steel. Being a coded welder / knowledge of orbital welding would be an advantage though not an absolute requirement, however you must have the ability to become coded in the near future. Your main work would be carried out at the Leeds workshop however site work will be a regular part of your work and successful candidates should be prepared to travel on a regular basis sometimes for extended periods.

Mechanical Fitter / Fabricators
We require a multi-skilled fitter / fabricator with experience in MIG/TIG welding and ideally mechanical machine construction and assembly. Working from drawings and as part of a team, you will be responsible for fabricating bodywork then building & assembling a wide range of large pack machinery to meet customer delivery deadlines. Your main work would be carried out at the Leeds workshop however site installation work will be a regular part of your work and successful candidates should be prepared to travel on a regular basis sometimes for extended periods.

Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator
We currently require a fabricator-welder experienced in working in stainless steel fabrications experience of Aluminium fabrications would also be an advantage. The work is varied ranging from small sheet metal work to large machinery frames in box and channels. High quality TIG welding is essential, experience of MIG, MAG, MMA and coding would also be an advantage. Flexibility and the ability to produce precision fabrications mainly from water cut and folded profiles is the essential feature of this position. The work is mainly factory based in Leeds with some site work during installations.

Fitter / Service Fitter
This role is to support, service and maintain our growing customer base of installed machinery throughout the UK from our offices based in Leeds. Duties would include carrying out pre-booked preventative maintenance, calibration of weighers and other specialist machinery, faultfinding and emergency callout work. Training will be given in house on PLC and PC based control systems for fault finding. When not out in the field, the role will be working in the Leeds Factory helping out with the manufacturing/mechanical fitting and spares orders. The successful candidate should have a good mechanical engineering knowledge derived from HND/HNC, OND/ONC, Apprentice or similar qualifications however experience will also be taken into account. Electrical, PLC Software experience and qualifications would also be a benefit.
39 hours per week Monday to Friday and a small amount of overtime. Weekend working will be expected to fit in with our customer’s production schedules.

Electrical Design Engineer
This role is to assist the systems department with the design of Electrical control systems based around PLC / PC controls. Use C.A.D., Excel and Word to produce Electrical Schematics, Cable Schedules and other documentation. To help with procurement and other project management roles. Design and implementation of Industrial Networks such as Ethernet, CanOpen and Profibus.
The role is 39 hours per week Monday to Friday some overtime / weekend working at enhanced rates
