Microdat.co.uk Limited is a small high tech UK based firm that designs, manufactures, installs and services a range of automated machines used for processing and handling beer kegs and casks in the brewing industry.  

We currently have positions vacant in the following departments for Shift 2:

CNC Machinist

Due to our busy workload, we are extending our production capacity and have a requirement for a Shift 2 machinest.  Candidates should have wide experience in CNC preferably with Colchester lathes and Fanuc software and be able to work confidently on their own.

Shift 2 hours are Mon-Fri 12pm to 8pm, overtime & some weekend work will also be available at enhanced rates

Depending on experience £7 to £9 per hour overtime at enhanced rates

Waterjet Operator

Due to our busy workload, we are extending our production capacity and have a requirement for a Shift 2 Waterjet Operator.  Experience of nesting, waterjet operation & maintenance is essential to ensure the continual running of the waterjet during your shift.  Direct experience on Bystronic waterjet and Bysoft nesting is preferred.

Shift 2 hours are Mon-Fri 12pm to 8pm, overtime & some weekend work will also be available at enhanced rates

Depending on experience £7 to £9 per hour overtime at enhanced rates
